The Global Reinsurance team manages >1,000 reinsurance agreements, with >$700 billion in ceded risk and $2.5 billion of annual premiums. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Reinsurance Specialist to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for administering ceded business with moderate to complex issues. The prospects will have the opportunity to work with cross-disciplinary teams within Manulife. Key responsibilities: Investigate, analyze, and process policy exceptions in the reinsurance administration system Responsible for the completeness, accuracy and reliability of premium, risk and claim information for assigned ceded business Own billing reconciliation and reinsurer payments Support small to medium projects and clean up initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time Respond to internal or external queries in a professional and timely manner Identify, resolve, or escalate unusual business trends Support audits by providing evidence and examples Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various departments within the segment and across segments Data driven approach to in force management Identify and own process improvements including potential automations Who are you?
