G MASS Consulting are seeking a strategic and commercially minded senior Regulatory Reporting professional to lead and scale a Regulatory Operations Managed Services offering. This role will own the overall strategy, execution model, and commercial growth of a multi-team operational function that delivers managed regulatory reporting services to a diverse client base. This position will oversee several operations pods that provide full outsourced reporting solutions as well as partial or ad-hoc support, ensuring clients meet their regulatory obligations accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities: Lead the strategic direction and growth of the regulatory operations service offering. Build and develop high-performing teams, ensuring the right structure and capabilities to support multiple clients. Create and maintain operational runbooks, procedures, and training materials to support consistency and scalability. Define KPIs and success measures to assess client engagement, service quality, and operational performance. Implement tracking processes to monitor workloads, support scope, and delivery timelines. Establish clear approval and prioritisation frameworks for new, complex, or non-standard reporting requests. Set and align RACI models and SLAs across internal teams to ensure clarity of ownership and expectations. Champion automation, efficiency, and standardisation initiatives across the service offering. Work with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise and deliver reporting improvements and enhancements. 8+ years’ experience in regulatory transaction reporting gained in a major financial institution or consultancy. Strong hands-on knowledge of key global reporting regimes (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, CFTC/SEC-SBSR, SFTR, ASIC, MAS, HKMA, CSA). Proven track record in building, leading, and developing global operations teams within the regulatory reporting space. Solid understanding of derivatives products, transaction data, and reference data, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into operational processes. Broad familiarity with front-to-back functions across financial institutions. Good understanding of OTC and exchange-traded derivatives infrastructure, including trading venues, clearing houses, and external service providers. Salary: £90,000-120,000 depending on experience. 12-months initial contract, with a view for permanent internalisation with the end client.
