You’ll work within a dynamic general practice environment while benefiting from mentorship from an experienced vet with a special interest in dentistry. This role is ideal for someone who values a broad nursing caseload but also wants to expand their dental capabilities. Located close to the M11 and within easy reach of Whittlesford station, our practice offers convenience, a friendly environment, and access to our Milton 24-hour hospital for further support and development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Take part in a wide range of general nursing duties across theatre, inpatient care, consult support and patient monitoring Support and assist with dental procedures including radiography, mouth charting, scaling, and polishing as part of your broader nursing responsibilities Confidently monitor and manage general anaesthesia across a variety of procedures Support the wider clinical team with theatre work and patient care Contribute to the ongoing development of our dental services, including stock control Provide internal training to other nurses in Schedule 3 dentistry and best practice dental care (with support and training if needed) Work flexibly across local Village Vet practices when required (a few times per month) to provide cover and support Collaborate closely with a vet who will provide ongoing mentorship and dental development Why Join Village Vet Whittlesford?
