Position Summary Reporting to the Site Leader, the Reception Assistant provides reception, administrative, staff scheduling, and workflow coordination for the site. In accordance with Covenant Care’s Mission, Vision, and Values, the incumbent provides clerical and general office support services as required. Qualifications Grade 12 with post-secondary administrative training Minimum 2-3 years of administrative experience in a health care or related setting is required, preferably in supportive living and hospice Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and scheduling programs, such as Dayforce, is an asset Typing skills of 40 - 50 words per minute Courteous in answering phones and assisting residents, families, volunteers, and visitors Ability to set priorities, self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and deal with people in a stressful situation. Required proof of completion of vaccination PLEASE NOTE: Covenant Care offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package. All employees new to Covenant Care must provide a criminal record check not older than 6 months ahead of your commencement date. Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Person Screening processing is taking much longer than typical (3 to 4 weeks) and that commencing the process in advance is advisable.
