Our national R&D team have an interesting portfolio of large and complex clients therefore providing an array of complex and rewarding incentives and relief advisory work. We are an entrepreneurial business line with a spirit and culture that people enjoy.As a Senior Manager your responsibilities will include:Working alongside Partners/Directors or alone, you will look to identify, prospect for and deliver support and advice in respect of R&D tax credits to both existing and new clientsThis will include advising clients in respect of the quantum of claims, identifying and analysing qualifying expenditure and setting this out in claims submitted to HMRCA large part of the role will be business development, utilising your specialist R&D tax expertise to identify new potential opportunities to make claims for new and existing clients, and also leveraging your network of potential clients and intermediaries.QualificationsExperience required:Significant R&D tax experience in the IT/ Software industry gained working with a variety of client in terms of size, complexity and sector focusKnowledge of both HMRC's processes in terms of reviewing claims, and also specific technical knowledge and understanding of what constitutes qualifying activities for R&D tax incentivesDemonstrable understanding of UK and International businesses and how R&D tax services can be best delivered to benefit themDemonstrable track record of business development, winning business from both new and existing clientsTechnically capable adviser who is able to manage complex client workDemonstrable experience of managing people and clientsProject management experienceExperience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externallyProfessional Qualifications and EducationFinance, accounting, software qualificationQualified accountant (ACA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) Additional InformationAs a colleague here at S&W you will have access to benefits that includeCompetitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependent)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveFully funded training towards professional qualificationsCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEye care supportWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
