Octeville R&D Controller (W/M/D) YOUR OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the VP Business Control Supply Chain and EPI Finance Team, you will act as a Finance Business Partner to the EVP EPI on the scope of the R&D, providing the right financial in-sights (R&D expenses, CAPEX, Project preparation, ROI, …) and challenging within cross functional teams the relevant action plans to increase Sidel performance understanding and profitability YOUR MISSION Business Partnership: Copilot locally with EVP EPI and his team and drive performant R&D and innovation function across different functions (Supply Chain, EP&I, Services). Provide comprehensive and relevant analysis and KPI to support and challenge the VP Portfolio and the VP Innovation R&D items of portfolio contribution, Project, Engineering activity cost follow up, TLI investment follow up / Compliance with R&D policy, CAPEX and OPEX control, Support and challenge Product Management for Business case construction, reviews of New Product Introductions and overall product profitability measurement. Cost Control (actual and forecast): Strong link with Central FP&A and Equipment performance in margin analysis and forecast. Drive the EPI contribution in term of R&D costs. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on yearly budgets and quarterly / monthly forecasts and outlooks in collaboration with department heads and managers. Propose adjustments to forecasts based on changing market conditions and business needs and deliver action plan to optimize on deliverable and profitability. Active participation to the 3 years Business Plan, annual Budget, quarterly Outlook and monthly closing. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial procedures and systems for increased efficiency and accuracy.Share recommendations with the Central teams (Supply Chain, Services, Group Finance and Group Controlling). YOUR PROFILE Holding a master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, you can justify at least 2 years’ experience in Controlling (industrial, costing, R&D). You have solid knowledge of controlling processes & business planning principles, and strong experience in SAP FI/CO in an international and industrial group. You are team player, result-oriented and you are able to evolve in a matrix organization. Industrial Engineering background is a plus. A fluent level in English is required.
