Work Flexibility: Onsite Provide support for pre-clinical, clinical and usability testing activities within the clinical dept. The team member will provide support in document management, data management and analysis. The team member will also support other functions such as regulatory, quality and marketing 1. Supporting post-market clinical follow up activities 2. Assist data management of clinical and pre-clinical data including the creation of data management plans 3. Assist in execution of pre-clinical studies 4. Assist data processing activities 5. Assist in data recording during usability and pre-clinical studies 6. Assist with engineering documentation for clinical regulatory submissions and pre-submissions 7. Assist in initial Bench/Pilot testing and writing or review of technical reports 8. Assist in planning pre-clinical and usability studies including equipment sourcing and preparation of data recording templates 9. Liaising with the training officer and assisting in the training of industrial placement students; 10. Assist in the preparation and organisation of stakeholder and advisory meetings. 11. Creating and updating documentation in accordance with ISO 13485, GLP and ISO 14155 • Qualifications: Relevant on-going degree course with acceptable 1st year results Relevant A-levels of equivalent • Specific Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology Knowledge of medical devices, particularly cardiovascular Knowledge or experience of general electronics hardware would be useful • System/Computer Requirements: Basic Microsoft Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat Ability to utilise publication search engines. • Key Competencies needed for this position: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Problem solving and analytical skills Technical writing skills Time management skills High standard of work and strong attention to detail Good teamwork skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines Demonstrate initiative Travel Percentage: None Stryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
