Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager OPM Labels and Packaging Group is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager to join the team at The Colour Box, Gelderd Road, Leeds. This role is the guardian of quality—responsible for keeping standards exceptionally high and records fully traceable. Working hands-on with the production team, suppliers, and customers, the Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager ensures every printed product is safe, compliant, and ready for release. Complaints are not simply resolved—they are turned into opportunities for improvement. The role owns the end-to-end process for customer, supplier, and internal complaint resolution. Leading a trusted QA team, the successful candidate ensures robust root cause analysis, effective corrective actions, and clear communication. Every issue is handled swiftly, documented accurately, and used to drive continuous improvement across the business. Calm under pressure, detail-driven, and proactive, this role is central to maintaining excellence. Key Responsibilities Setting, maintaining, and continuously improving OPM quality procedures Complaint management and driving continuous improvement Leading, inspiring, and developing the QA team, including tailored training Understanding and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, BRCGS V7 Packaging, and PS9000:2016 standards Ownership of batch release, traceability, and quality response Experience & Expertise Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance (printing/packaging preferred; food, pharma, or sports nutrition also ideal) Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, and EU/UK regulatory requirements Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure What We’re Looking For Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Experience in quality management within a manufacturing or print & packaging environment An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable improvements Familiarity with quality management systems, software, and relevant standards A strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning Why Join OPM?
