Job Title: Social Worker – Front Door Team Location: Haringey Rate: £30.00 Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a new member to join the Front Door Team at Haringey. Responsibilities: You will manage and prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met, focusing on high standards of written work and effective interventions and outcomes. You will undertake assessments and reviews in a person-centred and holistic manner, focusing on the individual’s strengths and preventative options to maximise their independence. You will assess, review, and provide support to carers and family members. Additionally, you will ensure that all assessments and reviews comply with the Mental Capacity Act, making judgements on where a service user may have significant difficulty engaging in the process and ensuring they have suitable advocacy support. You will also carry out Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interest decisions where appropriate. Qualifications and Experiences: You must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, and have post-qualified experience. A degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required. The ideal candidate will have excellent assessment skills, be able to work with service users and carers in times of crisis, and work with individuals and families in an outcome-focused way using a Strength-Based Approach. You will also need to advocate for principles of non-discriminatory practice to ensure equality of access for service users with a Learning Disability to mainstream provision where appropriate, and manage a caseload of varied complexity.
