This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QA Specialist in Europe. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, consistency, and overall quality of complex software solutions by applying strong QA methodologies and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, validating fixes, conducting various types of testing, and contributing to quality improvements across the development lifecycle. You will help strengthen product stability and user experience by identifying root causes, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. \n Accountabilities: Investigate issues, identify root causes, and validate fixes in multi-tier web application environments. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to detect defects and inconsistencies. Collaborate with product and project teams to clarify requirements and provide input on quality and testability. Document test results clearly and track issues to ensure full visibility of QA activities. Conduct detailed root cause analyses and partner with developers to ensure timely resolutions. Contribute to defining and improving QA standards, workflows, and best practices. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively across functions. Maintain a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset in various work situations. Requirements: Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing. Experience with LibreOffice testing is required. Strong understanding of QA concepts, methodologies, tools, and processes. Knowledge of Linux environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong collaboration abilities and comfort working in distributed teams. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus. Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress or Cppunit is beneficial. Previous work in an open-source environment is considered an advantage. Benefits: Fully remote work arrangement.
