We know this will be the best place you’ll ever work. -- As part of the Testing Centre of Excellence, the QA Governance Lead will play a critical role in ensuring project teams adhere to TCoE processes and standards. This includes assessing compliance, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, and collaborating with teams to address issues well before reaching TCoE Stage Gates. The goal is to help teams be fully prepared for Stage Gates, avoiding any last-minute surprises in the QA process. Initially, the focus will be on the BO R3 team and the GAINS team, with the remit expanding to other teams over time. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: · Evaluate project teams' adherence to TCoE processes on an ongoing basis. · Prepare comprehensive weekly reports highlighting the status of compliance, potential risks, and areas needing improvement. · Collaborate with teams to ensure that all necessary documentation and processes are in place for TCoE stage gates. · Work closely with project teams to identify gaps and inconsistencies in their QA processes. · Foster a collaborative environment where teams feel comfortable discussing challenges and seeking solutions. · Provide guidance and support to teams in addressing identified issues promptly. · Continuously assess and refine TCoE processes to align with industry best practices. · Propose enhancements to existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. · Implement process improvements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. · Develop and deliver training programs to educate project teams on TCoE processes and best practices. · Encourage knowledge sharing and the adoption of QA best practices across the organization. · Proactively identify potential risks and challenges in QA processes and develop mitigation strategies. · Ensure that teams are well-prepared for TCoE Stage Gates to minimize the likelihood of project delays or surprises. · Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization. · Advocate for QA best practices and the importance of QA governance. Develop an ongoing governance plan which identifies key project milestones and key governance related activities. Responsible for maintaining the overall governance issues register and RAID log and ensuring timely progress on addressing issues found. Provide input to current processes and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Partner with clients, IT Management, and delivery teams to ensure testing goals are aligned to business objectives. Lead testing resources on BAU projects and create test cases when needed. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for Automation and Performance test teams. Communication: · Communicate with business and solution subject matter experts for validation and verification of TCoE processes and deliverables. · Ability to communicate with project teams with respect to the state of quality deliverables, testing progress, risks, and issues. · Ability to collaborate with teams on addressing process or deliverable gaps or inconsistencies. -- This exciting role comes a very competitive salary and an extensive benefits package.
