Job Summary: The Pump Technician will be responsible for the repair of rotating machinery in our workshop, from initial assessment to final shipment. This position also involves occasional on-site service visits to customer locations. You will have access to the most modern equipment in our facility to meet these requirements and ensure that we deliver a product that meets our customers' specifications. Your Role: Reporting to the QRC Supervisor and with support from the Technical Lead, the Repair Technician will be responsible for the following key tasks within the workshop: - Receiving equipment from suppliers and customers according to established procedures, - Disassembling and cleaning equipment for assessment, - Performing technical assessments and identifying defective parts to be ordered, - Reassembling, testing, and painting the equipment, - Preparing the equipment for shipment. Other Duties: In accordance with company objectives and policies: - Participating in initiatives related to safety, quality, and operational improvement, - Performing short-term service visits to customer sites for commissioning or troubleshooting, - Actively contributing to maintaining a clean and organized workshop, as well as performing basic maintenance on workshop equipment, - Operating a forklift and other lifting equipment. Your Profile: • A technical diploma or certificate in general mechanics or maintenance, ideally with some knowledge of lathe and milling machine operation, • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, • Knowledge of mechanics, materials, and rotating machinery would be an asset, • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, • Strong organizational skills, meticulous, and detail-oriented, • Basic knowledge of German and/or English.
