We are looking for an End user Account Manager - to join our public sector sales team. You will have an active role in driving HP strategy and business growth in Wales, focusing on Local Government, Universities & Healthcare. Eagerness to learn and be a change agent Responsibilities Sell the HP commercial solutions portfolio, including PC Hardware, Services, Display and Accessories to – into Public Sector customers. Use specialty to leverage existing opportunities and branch into more than one BU in the account. Establish a professional working relationship (up to the executive level) with clients and develop a core understanding of the unique business needs. Engage partners effectively to improve win rates on selective deals. C+ Level Engagement with existing and prospective customers Generate new leads for HP solutions and collaborate with other specialists or partners as needed. Enter opportunities in pipeline tools and update them weekly. Recommend and implement Pipeline management practices. Build and deploy a territory account plan that includes working with partners, specialists. Ability to implement margin recovery activities/strategies in full ownership of the account or in partial ownership depending on account coverage. Act as a first interface for customers as fronts a virtual team where applicable. Identify customer requirements, match with HP capabilities. Attending events and representing HP at appropriate external meetings Advocate HP channel programmes in the education space. Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Sales or similar OR equivalent experience (typically around 8-10 years working experience) Can demonstrate experience in understanding large product portfolios and motivate external stakeholders to deliver annual growth Can demonstrate commercial acumen which will be basis for all discussions Can demonstrate detailed understanding of frameworks Passion about technology and innovation Self-motivation, confidence and fast learning skills Creativity, proactiveness and strong inter-personal abilities Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
