Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Outpatient MD to provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in an outpatient setting. Join a collaborative team with strong leadership and administrative support, access to continuum of care, psychological testing, PHP, neurobehavioral services, and transition navigation to adult services. Opportunities are available to work across specialties such as Neurology, Adolescent Medicine, Immunology, other pediatric subspecialty clinics, or integrated care settings and includes innovative outpatient consultative models. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for new and returning outpatients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy as appropriate. Provide crisis intervention and stabilization for acute psychiatric conditions presenting in the outpatient setting. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with advancements in the field of psychiatry. Supervising academic trainees. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry. Valid medical license to practice in the state of Ohio. Experience in outpatient or neurobehavioral psychiatry preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
