Nando's are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding property team and support our restaurant estate across the UK & Ireland. They will be responsible for managing the fit-out of new restaurants, refurbishment of our existing estate as well as capital projects as required. Key Responsibilities & Expectations: Sign off and critique drawing package prior to construction To client manage the contractors maintaining great relationships throughout the process of refurbishing a restaurant To manage the clients direct, i.e. all HVAC and equipment ordering and installation To update and communicate the programme and progress to all appropriate persons within Nando’s To ensure all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to including completion of Health & Safety files and store completion files Gain sign off on any refurbished restaurants from Nando’s operations team To co-ordinate the tender process and appoint the best contractor for each project undertaken To manage the costings and works programme so that budgets are adhered to and restaurants are handed over to operations team on time and fully operational To promote best practice within the Project Management function and constantly look to improve processes and procedures Key Stakeholders: This role will touch into many different parts of the business, including: Regional MDs, Patraos, RDs Central Support functions, Regional Technical Manager External suppliers/contractors and designers, local authorities, Landlords The candidate should possess / be: Proven experience (3-5 years+) in Project Management, preferably from a large, multi-site environment Experience of managing internal and external resources Strong critical thinking, data analysis and problem-solving skills Numerical skills with experience in reporting and cost control Ability to interrogate data and propose new initiatives based on those insights Experience in planning meetings, events and associated logistics Excellent organisational skills Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Project & Powerpoint) Excellent written and verbal English Good communication skills A proactive and motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously and within a team To actively demonstrate and encourage behaviours that foster the Nando's values of Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity & Family Our candidate should be looking for: A culture with strong purpose & values, intent on contributing to / driving positive cultural and societal change An environment which is relaxed and informal, whilst highly driven and ambitious A business that seeks to support every employee to be at their best, and encourage individuality A culture which supports personal growth and development An inclusive, supportive team environment which allows autonomy and forward thinking Success as a team.
