As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), I'm recruiting a Professional Services Contracts (PSC) Manager to lead the performance management of our key technical service suppliers. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a once-in-a-generation project that will generate 3.2GW of low-carbon electricity - enough to power 6 million homes - and will shape the UK's energy future for decades to come. In this role, you'll work directly with our Professional Services Lead and play a central part in managing high-value packages delivered by both our parent organisations and external technical partners. These include scopes such as Temporary Works Design, Geotechnical Services, Engineering Support, and Instrumentation & Monitoring. You'll coordinate across design, commercial, technical, and data teams to ensure supplier performance meets programme, quality and assurance expectations. From early visibility of trends to proactive problem-solving, your focus will be on maintaining pace, driving value and delivering results. Key responsibilities include: Managing performance metrics and reporting across multiple professional services contractsSupporting procurement, scope definition and contract mobilisationCoordinating supplier performance reviews and corrective actionsDriving consistent technical delivery standards across internal and external design teamsLeading the integration of contract performance data (earned value, KPIs, assurance) with wider programme reportingContributing to improvements in how we measure, manage and improve delivery outcomes across technical scopes What we're looking for: You'll be a qualified engineer or similar with solid experience in engineering or design management - ideally gained within a major infrastructure or complex programme environment. You'll understand what quality technical delivery looks like, and have a track record of managing external service providers against demanding programme, commercial and assurance objectives. You'll be collaborative, highly organised, and a clear communicator - with the confidence to engage across internal delivery teams and the external supply chain to keep progress on track. A background working with major consultancies and Tier 1 contractors would be a strong advantage.
