HD are a North West based large format print and signage company, we offer a range of products within a variety of sectors including retail, leisure, events, sporting events & exhibitions. We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-orientated individual to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the print and signage industry, have a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Key Responsibilities Perform vinyl work including cutting, weeding, and applying vinyl to various substrates with precision and high quality. Operate Mimaki printers and laminators. Assist in the production of general signage, which may include operating large flatbed printers and CNC machines, assembling components, and following design specifications. Conduct quality checks to ensure all signage meets required standards for accuracy and consistency. Use the print management system to ensure all data is correct. Operate the sewing machine for basic sewing tasks and gel edge graphics. Maintain a clean and organised workshop, including cleaning equipment, organising supplies, and disposing of waste materials appropriately. Pack completed jobs, ensuring they are protected for transportation and that all required documentation is included on packaging. Occasionally participate in on-site installations of signage products, adhering to safety procedures. Provide support to other production team members as needed to ensure timely project completion. Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the printing and signage industry. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends.
