Production Planning Coordinator

As our Production Planning Coordinator, you’ll be instrumental in keeping our finished goods production running seamlessly, collaborating with contract manufacturers and internal teams—Purchasing, Forecasting, Fulfillment, and Sales—to ensure our sugar-free sweeteners, baking mixes, snacks, and chocolate products land in customers’ hands when they should. 

 It’s a role where organization, collaboration, and problem-solving come together to support our growth and bring healthier choices to more people every day.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Create and manage production schedules, keeping forecasts and raw materials in mind. 
• Ensure our contract manufacturers meet production deadlines. 
• Work hand-in-hand with internal teams to prioritize and schedule projects, supporting cost savings and exciting new product launches. 
• Build strong relationships with our contract manufacturers to keep everything running efficiently. 
• Track and report performance metrics, putting together monthly scorecards and leading regular reviews. 
• Implement smart, cost-effective strategies to keep our business operations at their best. 
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with assigned manufacturers. 
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure we’re ready for growth by aligning capacity and capabilities with business needs. 
• Plan for the future, projecting capacity and making sure production schedules stay on track. 

• Supply Chain experience required. 
• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) or equivalent experience is highly desirable. 
• Advanced computer literacy in programs such as Excel or an ERP system is essential. 
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of employees, fostering effective working relationships. 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a necessity. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling successful relationship-building internally and externally to achieve business goals. 
• Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work autonomously. 
• Detail-oriented, capable of working under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines. 
• Willingness to work at our Orem, UT location. 
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
