The role requires advanced use of ERP systems to ensure accurate planning, scheduling, and reporting across manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesCreate and maintain detailed production plans aligned with sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targetsDevelop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to maximise efficiency and service levelsMonitor production progress and adjust plans to respond to changes in demand, capacity, or material availabilityEnsure optimal use of labour, equipment, and resourcesUse ERP systems as the primary planning and control tool for production, materials, and capacity planningMaintain accurate master data (BOMs, routings, lead times, calendars)Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage material availability and delivery schedulesQualificationsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProven experience in a Production Planning or Supply Chain Planning role within a manufacturing environmentStrong hands-on experience using ERP systems for production planning and MRPExperience managing complex production schedules and multi-level BOMsDemonstrated experience working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and salesEducation and ExperienceDegree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related disciplineTypically requires an undergraduate degree and broad experience or equivalent.Additional InformationCompetitive base salaryCompany pension33 days holidayIf you experience difficulties or are unable to apply for a role on-line please contact us at [email protected] and one of the team will be in contact to help you.
