Location: London - Ontario Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position Your Work Environment: As a Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and effective production processes. You will lead production teams, optimize schedules, maintain quality standards, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and an ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment. Your Daily Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and oversee manufacturing operations to meet production targets. Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery. Monitor and enhance quality control while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Manage materials, labor, and equipment to optimize costs and efficiency. Lead and mentor staff, providing training and support for continuous development. Implement continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production efficiency. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (procurement, maintenance, logistics) for smooth operations. Your Must-Haves: Experience in nitrile glove manufacturing. 15+ years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations. Proven ability to develop and manage budgets, schedules, and workforce planning. Experience with Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives (preferred). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational setting and manage multiple priorities. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 6 Great Reasons to Apply: Competitive salary.
