Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity You will be the subject matter expert for assigned Large and Key Accounts (LAKA) products, providing strategic and operational guidance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You will use your expertise and judgement to solve complex problems, select methods, and guide others. You will focus on supporting LAKA products, strategy, and growth. Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Product (LAKA Solutions & Integrations). Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Maximize the value delivered by the product team by ensuring that the product backlog is aligned with customer needs. Lead in complex product delivery (or a group of products) to support overall business objectives Contribute to the formulation product strategy; Ensure understanding of product portfolios against overarching product and corporate strategies. Develop and execute a 3-month to 18-month roadmap for assigned portfolio. Accountable for feedback loop to inspect and adapt the product through frequent increments (Continuous improvement). This includes managing and soliciting feedback from clients, sales, technology and operations on tech trial and pilot, working with the organization to deliver best in market solution and address / prioritize any remediation needed before commercial launch. Develop solutions to address opportunities, gaps and requirements to maintain competitiveness of product offering, consulting on concepts with Technology, and developing comprehensive business cases to support decisions and prioritization. Take accountability for a portfolio of products and the product lifecycle of the entire portfolio beginning from product ideation and following through to product delivery and deployment. Deliver increments of value with release planning and roadmaps. Deliver products on budget, within defined scope, and with agreed-upon specifications to enable the achievement of defined benefits and Objective & Key Result (OKR) success metrics. Accountability is inclusive of revenue, product cost, customer satisfaction, adoption/usage, and innovation rate (maintenance vs new features). Prioritize product requirements against resources and revenue opportunities to maximize impact of future releases against achieving published corporate priorities. Maintain a high level of transparency and communication through proactive interactions with product team. Fosters collaborative relationships with internal partners to ensure the success of the Product roadmap, Product readiness, and product launch. Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years experience working in a product management capacity, managing multiple products through the full product life cycle Experience in strategic planning, project lifecycle management, portfolio management, compliance, and change management Proficient in leading product roadmaps and requirements gathering and communicating progress/approach with peers, clients and leaders. Knowledge and application of both theoretical and practical aspects of product management, including different product management tools and techniques Work in teams across the organization with multiple stakeholders and to influence and align others Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Strong work ethic with ability to work in a team or on own Experience in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business is an asset Your Moneris Career - What you get At Moneris, we believe in empowering you to succeed—personally and professionally.
