Function: Finance – Procurement Business Partnering Work Level: WL2C Reports To: Global Supply Chain and Procurement Finance Lead, Personal Care About Personal Care Personal Care Business Group accounts for ~20% of Unilever’s Turnover leveraging leadership positions of three of its categories: Skin Cleansing, Deodorants, and Oral Care. Job Purpose As the Senior Procurement Finance Manager for Unilever’s Personal Care Business Group, you will be a strategic finance partner to the global procurement team, driving value creation across categories such as Skin Cleansing, Deodorants, and Oral Care. You’ll lead financial planning, performance management, and decision support for procurement strategies that fuel growth, margin improvement, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Partnering • Partner with the Procurement Vice President and their global Leadership Team to shape sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings, resilience, and innovation. • Influence supplier negotiations and investment decisions through robust f inancial analysis and risk assessment. • Support make-versus-buy decisions, supplier transitions, and long-term sourcing models. Performance Management & Value Creation • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and actuals tracking for procurement spend across Personal Care. • Identify and quantify value opportunities (e.g., cost avoidance, cash optimization, inflation mitigation). • Drive transparency and accountability for procurement KPIs and savings delivery. Decision Support & Analytics • Provide financial modelling and scenario planning for strategic sourcing initiatives. • Use data-driven insights to challenge assumptions and improve decision quality. • Collaborate with Procurement Excellence and Finance Transformation teams to enhance reporting and analytics tools. Sustainability & Risk Management • Embed sustainability metrics into sourcing decisions (e.g., carbon footprint, regenerative agriculture). • Assess financial impact of supply chain risks and mitigation strategies. • Support Unilever’s Compass goals through responsible sourcing and supplier partnerships. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing. • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and global category teams. • Mentor junior finance professionals and contribute to talent development. Key Requirements • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience • 7+ years in finance roles, ideally with exposure to procurement, supply chain, or FMCG • Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence non-finance stakeholders • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with SAP, Power BI, or similar tools • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and driving business impact through finance Location In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London. This site will house some employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars together with colleagues who are currently located in Lever House in Kingston.
