We can even act as your family office, providing comprehensive services.Each family office is served by a small, dedicated team and lead expert coordinating services from across S&W’s specialists. We build long-term relationships and a detailed knowledge of each family’s history, dynamics, goals and wealth, including both personal and business assets.We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Private Wealth & Family Office tax team in Guildford at a Senior Manager or Associate Director level.As Associate Director in Private Client tax, your responsibilities will include among othersManage a portfolio of personal clients with complex tax affairs, focusing on non-UK domiciled individuals, HNWIs, and some trustsDay to day responsibility for meeting both client and compliance deadlines, monitoring time limits and electionsLeading tax planning projects such as non-domicile issues, onshore and offshore trusts (and other structures) and, capital gains and inheritance tax issuesManage HMRC enquiries together with any disclosures to HMRC via the worldwide disclosure facility or the offshore disclosure unitResponsible for billing and monitoring budgetsAssist with managing junior member of staff including helping them with technical and personal developmentEngage in personal business development activities and support business development activities of the teamQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should haveSignificant private client tax experience gained within a professional practiceACA/CTA QualificationDemonstrable knowledge of private client tax and associated professional adviceDemonstrable experience of delivering tax planning/advisory projectsDemonstrable experience of managing and developing client relationshipsDemonstrable experience of developing new business into profitable long-term client relationshipsTeam and project management skillsAdditional InformationAdditional InformationAs a colleague here at S&W you will have access to benefits that includeCompetitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependent)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveFully funded training towards professional qualificationsCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEye care supportWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
