About the Role We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our Paisley depot, supporting both depot-based and field-based operations across Scotland. Travel may be required to locations such as Livingston, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, and Falkirk. This is an outstanding opportunity for a mechanically skilled engineer with diesel engine experience who wants to grow, develop, and take their career to the next level within a global organisation. What You’ll Be Doing Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, generators, and diesel-powered equipment across depot and customer sites. Preparing, inspecting, and testing equipment to ensure it’s fully operational before deployment. Carrying out major overhauls, refurbishments, and fault diagnostics to minimise downtime. Working closely with the service team, hire controllers, and foreman to keep operations running smoothly. Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Travelling to customer sites and taking part in an on-call rota (1 week in 4). You’ll Have Mechanical engineering experience, ideally with plant equipment, pumps, generators, or diesel engines. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, an M&E apprenticeship, or equivalent. A full UK driving licence.
