Our team thrives on collaboration, technical excellence, and a shared commitment to shaping the future of energy. Job Description🚀 The Job Mission This is a senior, site-integrated role focused on piping and mechanical construction delivery at Hinkley Point C. You’ll play a pivotal role in progressing installation within a highly regulated nuclear environment.The role typically involves three days a week on-site in Bridgwater, but we need those with flexibility for five days in periods of peak delivery. We offer relocation support to help you move within commutable distance if required.Your key responsibilities will include:Leading the safe execution of mechanical piping installation within nuclear safety constraintsDeveloping, reviewing, and coordinating construction scope documentation aligned to nuclear proceduresEnsuring first-time-right delivery in line with quality, safety, and configuration control requirements Collaborating with engineering, commissioning, and regulatory stakeholders to resolve complex issuesInterfacing with walkdown, permit, and readiness functions to drive installationSupporting safety case integration at the point of field executionProviding reporting and coordination across multiple installation areas and contractorsEnsuring rigorous compliance with license conditions and site governance processes Qualifications🛠 Essential Skills and QualificationsEngineering degree or equivalent technical backgroundProven experience in UK nuclear construction, commissioning, or decommissioningCCNSG Safety Passport and IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSHStrong understanding of mechanical or piping installationAble to manage scopes within a highly regulated, configuration-controlled environmentComfortable operating across multiple workfaces and contractor teams✔️ Desired SkillsExperience supporting construction within active plant environments or nuclear islandsFamiliarity with walkdowns, open-point resolution, and readiness assessments Additional Information🌟 Why Apply?This is your chance to specialise in one of the most quality-critical aspects of piping delivery on a landmark nuclear programme.
