As a member of the healthcare team, the Physiotherapist coordinates, assesses and evaluates patient care and provides physiotherapy care to meet the needs of patients on Ward E2. The Physiotherapist collaborates with interdisciplinary team members and community agencies in the provision of care and discharge planning for patients and their families. 1. Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario 2. Current knowledge and experience in the management of surgical patients 3. Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills 4. Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team 5. Minimum 6 months recent orthopedic experience preferred 6. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation course in CPR or equivalent preferred
