Pharmacy Technician Location: Euston, London Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm (1 hour lunch break) Locum contract Start date: ASAP Hourly rate: £16.48 per hour Reporting to: Operations Team About Us GPDQ provides nationwide healthcare services for individuals, businesses, and the NHS. Our services include GP consultations, physiotherapy, mental health, audiology, health checks, blood tests, vaccinations and more. Consultations take place online, at home, or in a clinic with a GPDQ-vetted, GMC-registered NHS GP or highly skilled multidisciplinary team member. About the Role We’re looking for a Qualified Pharmacy Technician to support a regulated weight management / GLP-1 service within a distance-selling pharmacy model at one of our partner locations based just a short walk from Euston. You’ll be responsible for the accurate assembly, packing, and dispatch of prescriptions (including injectable GLP-1 medicines), working closely with the Responsible Pharmacist and wider operations team to ensure safety, accuracy, and a great patient experience. Key Responsibilities · Assemble and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist · Accurately pick, label, and pack medicines and associated supplies · Support GLP-1 order fulfilment, including cold-chain packing where required · Carry out batch, expiry, and stock rotation checks (FEFO) · Support stock control, fridge monitoring, and audit-ready dispensary standards · Respond to non-clinical patient queries and escalate clinical concerns appropriately · Work in line with SOPs, GPhC standards, and data protection requirements What we’re looking for · Qualified Pharmacy Technician · Experience in a community, online, or centralised dispensary setting · High attention to detail and strong safety focus · Confident using pharmacy and IT systems · Reliable, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Desirable - Experience in distance-selling or high-volume pharmacy - Exposure to GLP-1 or weight management services - Experience handling refrigerated/cold-chain medicines Our reason for being We help people to stay healthy by revolutionising access to primary healthcare in the home, workplace and community.
