Why this role is important? We are looking for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart in Perth. This role is ideal for a student who wants to gain experience in a pharmacy setting and is available to work afternoons and weekends. What you’ll do: Help prepare and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently Assist with blister packs, compounds, and temperature-sensitive items Keep workstations and shelves organized and stocked Support prescription file management and other routine pharmacy tasks Work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth patient care Provide excellent customer service and follow up on minor issues when needed What you bring: Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills A positive, cooperative attitude and willingness to learn Comfort working in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask and stay accurate under pressure Clear communication skills with both the team and patients Previous pharmacy or health-care experience is an asset, but not required This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, work alongside supportive pharmacists, and make a difference in our community.
