JOB DESCRIPTION Role Responsibilities: Inventory Management and Replenishment Using local excel buying systems, E3 trim, or other demand replenishment software, maintain forecast exceptions to ensure the accuracy of all standard and seasonal forecasts. Process all usage change notifications in a timely manner. Maintain all relevant SKU Notes within the buying platforms as appropriate relating to customer/item ties, increased usage, etc. Connection with Produce Category Manager on factors affecting demand Logistics/Supply Chain Management Responsible for maximizing Loadfill of all inbound products utilizing efficient loading strategy consolidation and re-distribution where appropriate. Collaborate with Logistics (TMS) and Supply Chain Optimization teams in capturing all available freight related efficiencies. Drive effective adoption of Corp logistics strategies. Report and follow-up on all OS&D & pricing discrepancy claims in a timely manner Effective Shrink Management Maintain appropriate Days of Supply/Sales on Hand (DSOs) to ensure meeting customer demand while minimizing exposure to shrink. Work closely with Site QA/Category Manger to address aging products. Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met. Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor. Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you): Minimum 1-2 years of Inventory Management/Purchasing experience Experience working within a retail, wholesale or distribution environment is an asset Experience in a similar or related analytical role is an asset High School Education or GED equivalent required, combination of education and experience is considered Bachelor’s Degree preferred Procurement or supply chain designation an asset Proficient with Microsoft 365 Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook & Excel Experience with replenishment software (E3, DPR) an asset Experience with AS400 an asset Sysco is committed to Employment Equity.
