Pensions Data Technician Home Based We have an opportunity to join a fast-paced, project-based data analysis environment as a Pensions Data Technician. You will be part of team that ensure projects are completed in line with procedural and client requirements, within service level agreements and provide a continually improving level of customer service in terms of quality, cost, and time. Job title: Pensions Data Technician Job Description: Key Responsibilities: To analyse and produce large and complex data sets within project parameters To understand and use formulas and more advanced Excel functions to efficiently deliver projects To work with the Senior Pensions Technician and Data Service Delivery Manager to deliver Projects within KPIs (time scales, deliverables, quality, sign off) and to input into the planning process To take ownership of the accuracy and quality of your own work To understand, build, maintain and enhance relationships Key tasks: To deliver key projects and scheme events within KPIs, including proactively communicating on progress. To control the quality of outputs to deliver an excellent service. To promote the provision of a first-class experience for clients and to share knowledge and expertise What we are looking for: Essential Math’s based qualification and experience in a data role in financial services or technical pensions experience Excel - Demonstrate the ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totaling). Excel – Can use formulas including lookups, data calculations and formatting of cells to specific guidelines Excel - Can import data/text files and use data validation Project Management skills - Ability to understand and interpret project plans.
