About the Role: As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for basic food preparation, assisting the Cook where needed, and handling food in accordance with safety and sanitary regulations. You will also be responsible for service of food, setting and clearing tables, and receiving goods delivered to the dietary department. Attention to detail is key, as you will keep accurate records while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment (knowing the proper procedures for operating and cleaning all equipment, utensils, work services, etc. used in food service areas). Qualifications: Successful completion or enrollment in a Food Service Worker program meeting the requirements of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 Current Safe Food Handling Certificate A passion for serving others and providing quality care Cook diploma (an asset) Excellent communication skills What You Can Expect as an Employee: Competitive compensation + 14% in lieu of benefits and 4% vacation pay, paid every pay.
