We are seeking a motivated Parker Store Representative to support the daily operations of our Parker Store. This role combines customer service, technical sales, inventory coordination, and order management in a fast-paced industrial retail environment.
While experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or fluid power systems is helpful, it is not required. We can teach product knowledge. What matters most is finding someone who is curious, motivated to learn, comfortable with technology, and willing to put in the work to help customers solve problems.

What You Will Do Customer Service & Sales
- Deliver exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and via email.
- Greet customers and identify needs to provide accurate product recommendations and technical solutions.
- Generate new and repeat sales through responsive service and product support.
- Prepare and process quotes, orders, special requests, and return authorizations accurately.
- Respond quickly to customer inquiries and resolve product or order issues.
Account & Vendor Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for designated customer accounts.
- Support on-time delivery and customer order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives and internal teams to support customer needs.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
Store Operations & Inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock organization.
- Support receiving, stocking, and inventory management activities.
- Ensure store appearance, merchandising, and organization meet company standards.
- Promote value-added services such as hose assemblies, kitting, and custom solutions.
Systems & Technology
- Utilize ERP systems, POS systems, and supplier portals to manage orders and customer information.
- Maintain accurate documentation of orders, quotes, and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP, POS, or CRM systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, or industrial components
- Experience in industrial distribution, parts counter sales, or technical retail
- Mechanical aptitude or technical background
- Technical certification in fluid power or motion control
