Location/Division Specific Information: Working as part of our Microbiology Division (MBD), within the Speciality Diagnostics Group, you’ll play an active part in helping us to achieve our mission. The Microbiology Division discovers microbiological solutions for the diagnosis of infectious disease and detection of bacterial contamination. We serve public health, clinical laboratories, food companies, environmental screening and pharmaceutical laboratories with a portfolio of products that include culture media, antimicrobial susceptibility testing solutions and market-leading molecular solutions for food safety testing. How Will You Make an Impact?: The Process Department supports the daily manufacture of the Sensititre product; this consists of dispensing, drying, packaging and labelling of the finished product. This role works within a controlled clean area and will be responsible for the operating and basic maintenance of the dryers. A Day in the Life: Production Schedule Adherence: Collect necessary plates for the day by following the production schedule. Dispensing Line Operations: Feed plates into the dispensing line, check produced plates, and load them onto trays for drying. Packing Line Tasks: Pack dried plates into foil pouches and box pouched plates into sales units. Accessory Product Handling: Assemble, bag, and/or pack other accessory products as required. Batch Reconciliation: Reconcile batch numbers and manufacture ID seals. General Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning duties in controlled clean areas and packing room areas. Further duties and responsibilities as required and within the ability of the post holder. Education: High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. Experience: Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Effective Collaboration: Build solid relationships with team members to enable efficient collaboration.
