Optical Services Product Manager Neos Networks offers alternative working arrangements that give employees some flexibility, including office, home and hybrid working. Base location: Reading/Havant with at least 2 day per week in the office Salary: £Competitive + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing. Working Pattern: Permanent Full time with the option of hybrid working What is the Role? As Optical Services Product Manager you will be responsible for growing and supporting our Optical Services and Fibre Products across development and in-life management through market research and defining market requirements and opportunities. Using a robust Product Development Framework and Governance Process, you will develop as required the market/sales requirements creating a service requirements document, product specification, high level pricing and plans to complete the product development and marketing strategies. The Product Manager will work with business stakeholders and delivery teams across Product Engineering, Operations, Sales, Commercial, Finance and IT to lead and drive New Product Development projects. The Product Manager also has responsibility for the in-life management of Neos networks’ existing Optical and Dark Fibre portfolio including reviewing Product Performance in the market, proposing service enhancements to increase product relevance and performance and to be the subject matter expert for the products within the Portfolio for Neos networks providing all teams with knowledge and guidance on the produce propositions, technical & service specifications. What do I need? In depth understanding of processes, objectives, and procedures within own discipline Strong communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence Self-motivated individual with good organisational, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills Confident and able to liaise and influence at all levels within Neos networks Product management and product development experience Experience of Networking technologies such as Optical Wavelength, Dark Fibre or Ethernet Knowledge of Infinera or Ciena optical products Stakeholder management and customer research Requirements analysis including pricing and planning Competitive analysis & Financial planning and strategy Job specific deliverables in line with Key Accountabilities and Decision ownership Drive the delivery and success of Neos networks’ growing Optical Services Products Produce and maintain product specific documentation Contribute to product marketing sales collateral Attend industry events, customer meetings and internal sales meetings to gather market requirements and to promote the Neos networks Product Portfolio & educate internal teams, customers, and the market on Neos networks’ products and propositions Confidently articulate the Neos networks’ Optical and Dark Fibre Portfolio and any key USP's, of the products and services within the roadmap Effective resource utilisation through the implementation of the product process and governance framework Effectively manage reporting of risk throughout new product development projects & management of stakeholder communications Next Steps All applications should be submitted online, and I'll be back in touch after the vacancy closing date to let you know the outcome.
