What You’ll Be Doing: Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems Install, replace and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits and other electrical components Maintain cleanliness of maintenance shop Keep inventory of parts necessary to perform Ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety System are met. Other duties as required. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: Enrolled in Post-Secondary education in a technical field. Knowledge and some previous experience with respect to Mechanical Assembly, Machine Repair, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems, PLC and CNC based control and logic systems. Welding and basic machining skills are a definite asset. Experience in the automotive industry is an asset, however not required. WORK ENVIRONMENT (including Physical Demands): Exposure to noise, heights, confined spaces, poor lighting conditions, material, products and by-products associated with the manufacturing of powered metal components, exposure to metal working fluids, temperatures, and weather extremes that require the use of specialized protective devices, clothing or equipment Required to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding to access elevations, able to crouch for periods of time, push, pull, lift, and turn while carrying tools, material and equipment in various parts of the facility.
