Job Qualifications: I Education: High School graduate, Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing, preferred. Licensure: If an LVN, must h:we a current Texas State license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a multi-state license issued by a state member of the National Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), current Texas drivers license. Experience: One year experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in home health preferred Skills: If an LVN, nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance. Environmental and Working Conditions: I Works in a routine office environment; noise level may be moderately high; must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours. Possible exposure to toxic materials, toner, etc. Physical and Mental Effort: I Prolonged standing and walking required, with the ability to!lift up to 50 lbs. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient/client needs, and to make quick decisions. Requires excellent problem solving skills. Essential Functions Schedules and appropriately document patient/client schedules in a timely manner. Participates in coordinating care with management and patient/client interdisciplinary team. Provides effective communication to patients/clients, staff members, other health care professionals and referral sources. Responds to Agency and patient/client needs in a professional and creative manner. Demonstrates commitment, professional growth and competency. Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
