Nursery Chef St Albans | Catering | Permanent | Part Time Salary - Pro rata, depending on experience 8 hours per week, 9am-5pm 1 day a week (Fridays) Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking Nursery Cook/Chef to be based at (insert site) in our Nuffield Health gym. You will need to have good verbal and written English, as well as Food Allergen Awareness training, which we can provide. You’re strong on organisation and confident about encouraging children to develop their love of food. And of course, you’ll require an enhanced DBS as part of your application. As a Nursery Cook, you will: Be responsible for the organisation and operation for our nursery kitchen Work with seasonal menus and use fresh ingredients to produce healthy and nutritional food Order from our nominated suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels Work within a set budget alongside your manager Minimise food waste Support laundry and ensure the cleanliness of your kitchen Deal with third parties/suppliers Work to EHO (environmental health) standards Helping you feel good.
