Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team and Systems Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network systems while also supporting our other infrastructure including server, virtualization, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth networking expertise coupled with a solid background in enterprise IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Network Engineering & Specialization: Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level LAN, WAN, SDWAN and VPN solutions, as well as experience supporting networking in cloud environments Install and manage network equipment including firewalls, routers, switches, SDWAN devices and wireless controllers Implement and enforce network security standards (e.g., network segmentation, firewall policies, IDS/IPS, VPN configuration) Monitor network traffic, performance, and availability using monitoring tools Responsibility for managing and updating IPAM tools 2nd/3rd line support and troubleshooting of network issues, escalate as needed Document system and network changes and maintain configuration standards and network CMDB Primary responsibility for sites in EMEA but also will support global network as part of the overall network team Infrastructure & Systems Support: Some experience or knowledge of the following areas is desirable but not a requirement: Maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization environments Infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and file systems Cloud and hybrid IT infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management Desired Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) 3+ years of experience in network engineering and/or infrastructure systems administration Expertise in Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), SDWAN and VPNs Strong understanding of firewalls, NAT, port security, and wireless networking Experience with enterprise network vendors (Cisco, Meraki, F5, Palo Alto, etc.) Some experience in systems administration and virtualized environments Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA / CCNP CompTIA Network+ / Security+ Microsoft Windows/ Linux Palo Alto RedHat Openshift Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities Clear and professional communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with good documentation habits We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
