We are a team of enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to meeting and exceeding the needs of the customers we serve.Job DescriptionJob Description As the National Sales Manager - Valves, you will be responsible for leading the national valve team and setting the strategic direction for the division. You will work closely with our Profit Centre Managers across the country to secure projects and MRO accounts.Additional duties will include:Leading the national valve team, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance managementSetting the strategic direction for the national valve division, including sales goals and market penetration strategiesWorking with Profit Centre Managers to identify and win large-scale projects and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) contractsDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with End Users, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and ContractorsCollaborating with our vendor partners to develop and implement national and regional programsAnalyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisionsMaintaining a deep understanding of Westlund PVF’s valve product offerings and industry standardsEnsuring the team follows all safety regulations and company policies QualificationsCollege and/or University degree preferredA minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the wholesale distribution or manufacturing industry, with a focus on valves or related industrial productsA minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or leadership roleProven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a successful sales teamValid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstractProficient in the use of Microsoft Office softwarePossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrityDriven to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spiritPossess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to make sound business judgmentsStrong desire to strive for operational excellenceAbility to travel nationally as required Additional InformationWhy Join Our Team? EMCO, is one of Canada’s largest integrated wholesale distributors of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, industrial, and fire protection products for the construction industry.
