Inside the Quantum Hardware department, the Nanofabrication team is in charge of producing the superconducting circuits that serve as a basis of our quantum computer. The manufacturing process involves using thin film deposition and patterning methods (evaporation, etching, lithography…) performed in a cleanroom environment. The team is in charge of developing and improving the process, and manufactures the prototype chips of the company. As a Nanofabrication Process Technician at Alice & Bob, you'll play a pivotal role in the fabrication of superconducting circuits—critical components for next-generation quantum processors. You'll be working with state-of-the-art lithography and plasma etching tools, unlocking new possibilities for process optimization. This role combines technical expertise with hands-on problem-solving, requiring you to execute and document precise nanofabrication process steps, take ownership of tool supervision, diagnostics, and maintenance. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a revolutionary field while collaborating with experts and traveling to partner technology platforms in the Île-de-France region. If you’re a tech enthusiast with a drive for precision and a passion for quantum technology, we want you on our team! \n Responsabilities * Operate cutting-edge lithography (laser and E-beam) and plasma etching tools to perform, following an S.O.P, the different process steps of frabrication of “production” and “R&D wafers”, ensuring the highest standard and quality and precision. * Perform characterization and document it (optical microscope, profilometry, reflectometry), of each process steps to control its “quality”. * Take the responsability of the chemistry area and the laser lithography tool including the management of their consumables. * Conduct routine checks, calibrations, and characterizations of the equipments to ensure optimal performance. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep the equipment running smoothly. * Collaborate closely with a dynamic team to evolve and refine fabrication processes. * Identify and implement improvements in hardware capabilities to enhance production efficiency. Profil * Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Physics, Chemical, Material, etc.). * Experience: 3+ years of experience working with micro/nano-fabrication equipment . * Technical Skills: * Hands-on experience in a cleanroom environment. * Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong manual dexterity. * Proficiency in understanding operating manuals, diagrams, and schematics. * Key Competencies: * Being able to communicate in a professional English. * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. * A proactive, curious, and committed attitude toward work and personal development. Nice to have : Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
