TITLE: Mountain Sports Business Administration Manager LOCATION: Snowbird STATUS: Full-Time, Salaried (10 months) SCHEDULE: Variable – early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays SUMMARY The Mountain Sports Business Administration Manager plays a vital role in the success of Snowbird’s Mountain Sports operations. This position oversees systems management, payroll, and administrative processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. It requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and composure. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, finance-oriented, and thrives under pressure. As a member of the management team, this role supports all Mountain Sports staff and collaborates with internal departments and senior corporate leaders to ensure operational efficiency. WHAT YOU’LL DO Systems & Software Management Establish and maintain seasonal software parameters and updates (Flaik, Workday, RTP, Cognito Forms). Educate and support staff and department managers on software processes and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate staff records across platforms (Workday, PSIA, RTP). Help manage online sales software and ensure seamless user experience. Advise management on system-related policy changes and their operational impact. Business Administration & Payroll Duties Manage Mountain Sports invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements. Maintain daily payroll records and process bi-weekly payroll with accuracy and confidentiality. Develop project timelines, coordinate schedules, and proofread materials. Oversee budget planning and tracking, preparing regular reports on labor and revenue performance. Collaborate with finance, systems support, and analysis teams across Snowbird and POWDR corporate. Leadership & Collaboration Report to the Director and Senior Manager of Mountain Sports. Support and communicate effectively with all Mountain Sports staff. Partner with other departments to align administrative processes with operational goals. WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE Experience & Education 3–5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated competence. College degree in a related field. A working knowledge of the Winter Sports industry would be helpful but not required. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office Suite Experience with Workday, Coupa, and Snowsports management software (e.g., RTP, Flaik). Background in accounting and payroll systems Core Competencies High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting. Ability to analyze and model data in Excel. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communicator and team collaborator. Adaptability to shifting priorities and special projects. Mental & Emotional Demands Ability to maintain focus during extended computer-based tasks. Emotional resilience to manage frequent interruptions and high-pressure situations. Professional and courteous demeanor in guest and team interactions. Physical Requirements On-site presence required 5 days a week at corporate offices or resort locations. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer. Occasional movement between resort locations Light lifting (e.g., office supplies, equipment) and physical stamina during peak periods WORK SCHEDULE Variable shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. May require overnight stays during road closures or emergencies. WORKING CONDITIONS Frequent interruptions and shifting priorities demand flexibility and mental agility.
