Location: Ancaster, ON (onsite) Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It: As our next maintenance co-op student, you will report to the maintenance supervisor. What You’ll Be Doing: Ensuring the adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 all Johnson Electric's policies and any other industry standards in all activities Working with the maintenance team of the company Interaction with production operators, technicians and other key resources to assist with the documentation, standardization and improvement of processes Create and Update our PM system Create & maintain documentation for new and existing assembly lines Creating and updating electrical schematics for new and current projects PLC and HMI programming support – working with automation technicians Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives Perform other related duties as required Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives - Perform other related duties as required What We’re Looking For: Working toward a technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology/Mechatronics or equivalent Experience in a similar previous co-op considered an asset Excellent interpersonal skills High attention to detail Independent and self-motivated worker Hands on experience is a PLUS Committed to meeting deadline requirements Willing and able to multi-task and change priorities based on organizational needs Strong ability to use Microsoft Office Software Troubleshooting skills Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
