Position Purpose:
Produce consumer loans, member accounts and services by providing informed, professional, and accurate service. Sell credit union products and services and exceed performance goals for loan production, loan protection products, new membership and checking accounts as well as referrals of other credit union products and services.

Reports to the Consumer Lending Manager
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
1. Conduct interviews with members, assess member needs, recommend WFCU products andservices to meet or exceed those needs
2. Meet or exceed consumer loan production goals and goals for ancillary products including, but notlimited to, Debt Protection, GAP, warranties, auto insurance, etc.
3. Meet or exceed new membership and new checking account goals.
4. Review available information and proactively contact members with opportunities to improve theirfinancial position – prospecting, follow-up on loan and membership applications and outboundcalling are expected
5. Provide general information, interview members on the phone and via video calls, analyze creditapplications, determine collateral needs, values and payment plans, verify income, calculate debtratios, obtain credit reports, verify credit history, examine assets and liabilities
6. Be able to discuss loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rate, and loan documentation in such amanner as to elicit a positive response from the member.
7. Collect required documents from members required by the Underwriter to provide the ConsumerLoan Processor and/or Member Loan Support Center Specialist with the required information for anaccurate and efficient closing process.
8. Identify financial needs for members and cross-sell other credit union products and services bymaking referrals to other internal credit union specialists.
9. Provide coverage for other Member Relationship Specialists as dictated by staffing needs andmember volume
10. Provide service by answering “Apply for Loan’ queue calls and responding to online applications asassigned
