The Opportunity: We are seeking experienced Development Miners for our Lalor Mine located in Snow Lake, MB. The successful candidate will work on a 7/7 (Wednesday- Tuesday) schedule rotating nightshift/dayshift. Relocation packages and 3 month housing assistance is available to move you and your family to the vibrant community of Snow Lake. Alternatively, a fully equipped Camp is available for those who prefer to commute to Snow Lake, a quarterly travel allowance is provided(some restrictions apply) Responsibilities: 1. Receives working place assignments and instructions from Front Line Supervisor. 2. Transports materials, tools, equipment and blasting agents and accessories. 3. Follows Hudbay Procedures and Manitoba Regulations for all Drilling, Blasting, Bolting and other development practices. 4. Complete detailed Field Level Risk Assessment daily prior to starting work. 5. Complete thorough Pre-op on all equipment operated. (Qualified & Authorized) 6. Follow all driving layouts as per design following Hudbay practices and procedures.. 7. Install and maintain services as per Hudbay Standards. 8. Records and reports relevant data as per daily task assignment. Qualifications Minimum 4 years underground experience Mclean Bolter/Mechanical Bolter experience is preferred Two-Boom/One-Boom Jumbo experience Jackleg & Stoper experience 10 Yard Scoop experience Compensation Package: $41.68/hour plus additional underground production bonus Additional Snow Lake Premium of $4.00 per straight hour worked for those who reside in Snow Lake Profit sharing 100% Employer funded Health Benefits Coverage beginning day 1 of employment 100% Employer funded Defined Benefit Pension Plan Disability Insurance/Employee Assistance Program Travel Allowance paid quarterly(some restrictions apply)
