About the Team: Within a hardware engineering team currently made up of 9 people, your mission will be to participate in the development of our chargers, taking charge of the design of mechanical parts and integration of electrotechnical components in our products. About the role: 1 - Product Development/Hardware Model and manage complete 3D assemblies, including electrotechnical hardware in the mechanical environment. Design metal and plastic parts (3D modeling, 2D drawing, BOM release) Create mechanical elements for prototypes and industrial products Provide expertise on materials and manufacturing processes Collaborate with all company functions (Sourcing, Industrialization, Labs, …) to bring sub-system and product development to industrial application. 2 - Support and continuous improvement Edit technical documents and drawings Lead the supply of parts and materials for prototyping Create and assemble prototypes Provide technical support for the creation of assembly procedures for production Perform updates and continuous product improvement About you: Education requirements Engineer degree in mechanics or equivalent experience. Experience requirements Proficiency in technical English 3 years experiences minimum in design engineering in an industrial environment, from innovation to production, (mechanical development). Mastery of drafting and functional dimensioning. Mastery of CAD software (ideally SOLIDWORKS) Mastery of CAD MANAGEMENT & PLM software (ideally 3D Experience & Arena). Sheet metal design experience. Know how to bring a part nomenclature to life through iterations, including DESIGN TO COS. Knowledge in rapid prototyping (3D printing) and electrical integration. Relationship with subcontractors to produce prototypes. Notions in electricity (wiring, …) and electronics. Notions about IP/IK standards. Participation in the assembly of prototypes to validate the designs before the implementation of series. Relationship with METHODS/QUALITY/PRODUCTION departments and external suppliers.
