Healthcare Project Job Description: Assist the Resident Engineer and Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team. Regular site checks on top of the inspection requests. To have the knowledge and experience to report any observations found on site that are not acceptable and report to Senior Resident Engineer (SRE), Resident Engineer (RE) and Consultant Team. Work together with the team for proposed resolution and to keep proper records of such observations for proper closure. Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications. Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site. Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project. Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning. Maintain site records and inspection records that are duly sign-off. Requirements: Minimum a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution. A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is required. Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects. Experience in supervision of Building/Mechanical/Electrical Services installation for local Hospital/ Healthcare/ Institution/ Commercial Developments such as Hotel, Mixed Development, etc. would be added advantage. Familiar with local codes and regulations. Ability to respond to technical questions.
