This varied role has a range of tasks to support customer orders in a busy environment. As a Material Planner you be completing the following tasks: Managing customer MRP Process improvement Validate and release work orders Material planning for production orders Track progress with other teams in Quality, Goods Inn & Procurement Work with Master Scheduler to plan production Inventory management and reporting Attend a variety of meetings Generate reports e.g. "What If" for Project Management and teams as required Maintain Kanban & safety stock What we are looking for from a successful hire: Experience in a similar role in Supply Chain and Manufacturing SAP Discipline of execution knowledge/experience Ideally Six Sigma/Project Management skills Knowledge/experience of MRP/MPS Experience of supply chain solutions Strong MS office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Ability to work on urgent tasks in a busy environment The successful hire will need to be a permanent UK resident and successfully complete a BPSS baseline background check.
