Job Title: Massage Therapy Instructor Company: triOS College Location: Onsite, London Campus, 520 First Street, London, ON N5V 3C6 Hours: Part-time, Monday to wednesday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Start Date: Immediate The Opportunity: The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of assigned Massage Therapy courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and grading class tests, assignments, and exams. The Massage Therapy Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion What you’ll be doing: Preparation of daily lesson plans. Instructs assigned courses in accordance with course competencies. Develop and/or utilize a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.· Monitors and enters student attendance in XCAS. Enter student grades in XCAS within five (5) business days of completing an assigned course and forward marks to the Campus Director. Respond to student questions about the Brightspace platform. Prepares and grades class tests, assignments and examinations as required. Advises students regarding their academic needs and refers them for additional assistance as needed. Assists, as required, with arrangements for outside practical assignments. Timely completion of all official College records. Participates in school graduation ceremonies and student lunches.
