Job Description What is the opportunity? Our RBC Cards and Loyalty Operations & Supplier Management team is hiring for a Manager Statement Operations. In your role, you will be responsible for the vendor management disciplines corresponding to assigned 3rd party service partners, including (but not necessarily limited to): working with business partners and vendors, ensuring compliance requirements are met (insurance, privacy reporting, auditing, etc.) monitoring and reporting on vendors’ overall performance levels and addressing performance issues, coordination of change requests, and completion of risk assessments/due diligence as required (i.e. Service Provider’s Workbook). Please note that this is an in-office role with a minimum of 4 days in office per week located at Waterpark Place. What will you do? Manage incident resolution for business, internal operation and technology teams, and supplier production incidents Manage change request processes (for enhancements, projects, and programs), perform service level monitoring, and drive cost management strategies Manage incidents involving potential financial loss, client impact, or privacy breaches with urgency and actively pursue resolution in order to minimize risk of loss and client impact Accountable for IR resolution including organizing production support to minimize client impact and restore services. Follow-up and close gaps in order to minimize risk of incident reoccurrences Collaborate and provide operational direction to Symcor and RBC Partners in order to develop and implement changes that improve efficiencies, reduce costs, enhance the client experience and increase shareholder value What will you need to succeed? Must-have General knowledge of Canadian Banking regulations in the area of client reporting (credit card clients) Ability to take initiative and add value to the team Proven ability to partner with the business on project deliverables Understanding of the Card statement business and how it fits into core business context Ability to liaise with external 3rd party suppliers and manage their performance effectively Exhibit sound judgment, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Proficiency in using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office Nice to have Understanding of Card products Knowledge of Agile methodology What's in it for you?
