The Role: Operations Manager We're looking for an exceptional leader to spearhead our operations in the bulking and filling of commercial sterile pharmaceutical products. What You'll Do: Lead and inspire production teams, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and quality compliance Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers with a Right First Time (RFT) approach Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall site performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Engineering, and more Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with business objectives Manage manufacturing processes, resolve issues, and optimize production efficiency Uphold GMP standards and maintain regulatory compliance across UK, Europe, and USA Champion safety, health, and environmental initiatives within the organization What You'll Bring: Established leadership experience in a Pharmaceutical/Healthcare environment Deep understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations Experience in bulk manufacturing and filling within medium to large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Strong decision-making skills with a focus on risk-based approaches Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven track record in implementing operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and performance improvement methodologies Why Thermo Fisher Scientific?
